The City of Griffin owns and mainatins over 85 acres of cemetery which consists of Old Oak Hill Cemetery, Oak Hill Cemetery, Resthaven Cemetery and the Stonewall Confederate Cemetery. Griffin hosts a special military cemetery for veterens only in the interior of Oak Hill Cemetery. There is also a memorial park located across from the Stonewall Confederate Cemetery where an eternal flame and monuments line the park in honor of the veterans of every war.
