City Park
The City Park consists of 200 acres which include five pavilions, six tennis courts, two handicap-accessible playgrounds, AMBUCS putt-putt golf course, city pool, city golf course and ball fields (the ball fields are used by the Spalding County Recreation Department for summer leagues).

The Division supervises and maintains the landscaping and facilities of the park and golf course to ensure that all visitors can enjoy a clean and safe park.

The City Park is the site for the annual July 4th fireworks display sponsored by the City and County, and the annual May Fling arts and craft fair sponsored by the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce.


City Pool
The City Pool provides summer recreation beginning in the month of May through August. The Pool is supervised by Certified Lifeguards. There is no charge for using the pool facilities. The City Pool is also utilized during the summer months by the Griffin Swim and Dive Team.


Pavilion Rental
The City of Griffin provides reserved pavilions located at the city park. These pavilions can be used for family reunions, weddings, parties, cookouts, etc. All pavilions have grills and picnic tables. Please contact Linda Comstock at 770-229-6603 to reserve your pavilion.

Raymond Head Jr. Park
The Park is located on Beck St. and consists of 3 acres. It uncludes 4 basketball courts, play ground, picnic shelter and a walking trail.


Turner Street Park
The park is located on Turner St. and consists of 1 acre. It includes an open green space area, playground and a pavalion.
