OUTDOOR WATER RESTRICTIONS = The City of Griffin and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division has implemented a NON-DROUGHT scheduled use on water. ODD numbered addresses may water on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday EVEN numbered addresses and UNNUMBERED lots may water on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday NO WATERING ALLOWED ON FRIDAY Landscape watering is discouraged between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. because of its limited effectiveness. Fix A Leak Week EPA WaterSense has developed a promotional toolkit to promote the annual “Fix a Leak Week”. “Fix a Leak Week” is an easy way to educate your customers, community members and students about the importance of conserving water and checking for leaks. This toolkit includes a number of materials such as a press release, fact sheet, bill stuffers, web text, lesson plans and much more.
